Two Cities Under One Sky

Michael Rosen – Artistic Director & Founder of Digital in Berlin in a soundscape between Berlin and Jerusalem

Digital in Berlin is an independent Berlin-based platform dedicated to contemporary music and sound culture, active since 2008. Over the years, it has developed into an important space for presenting, curating, and promoting experimental and contemporary music, connecting international artists, audiences, and cultural spaces. Alongside its digital activities, Digital in Berlin produces and develops live projects and events, including Kiezsalon – a series that brings contemporary music into public and cultural spaces across Berlin.

The platform was founded and is artistically directed by Michael Rosen, a curator, producer, and promoter of contemporary music and culture working internationally. His work is rooted in creating connections between artists, communities, and institutions, and in presenting music that moves beyond the boundaries of genre and format. As part of the Gag-Eden Festival, Rosen will come to Muslala’s Terrace for a short DJ set – a meeting between Berlin’s contemporary music scene and Jerusalem, on a rooftop that itself becomes a space for connection between cultures, art, and community.

Michael Rosen is participating in the festival in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Jerusalem, following a partnership between the Goethe-Institut and Forecast Berlin.
